Alan is the creative force behind Udder. He loves helping buyers to make better purchasing decisions and helping vendors to be more successful.

Toby is currently leading Global Talent Intelligence at Philips. His responsibilities include all research, talent Intelligence and labour risk and feasibility intelligence, across the breadth of the Philips organisation globally. He has worked in a number of guises; external search, internal, RPO and ran his own research firm. The key for Toby throughout has been and using the insight and intelligence gathered through research / search activities to have a true business impact.
Anna has worked in startups, ran a search firm, and provided HR expertise to the corporate incubator of Deutsche Telekom.
She now supports HR tech vendors to build their products, and helps HR teams to better understand technology.
Ben has been working in recruitment since 2005. He’s currently the Head of Resourcing at Yodel and has held leadership roles at MMU, Sofology and Santander.
He’s a lover of tech that will improve the way organisations hire and retain talent.
Nick started his journey to Resourcing Geek in 2001. He’s worked in Agency & RPO, and for the last 8 years has been in-house with a focus on Employer branding and Recruitment marketing. With a relentless focus on both commercials as well as experience, Nick is always happy to share honest, blunt and occasionally brutal feedback to improve or enhance an offering.
Jen has worked in recruitment since 2004. She currently leads the Talent Acquisition strategy for TalkTalk, and previously for Diageo Australia.
She brings experience from agency, RPO and in-house, passionate about driving improvement and efficiency, and experience.
Leslie has worked in Recruitment for over 10 years and build various recruiting teams at start-ups and grown-ups such as Booking.com, Rocket Internet, GetYourGuide, Home24 and Facebook’s Oculus AR/VR
He has a passion for building teams, culture, technology and the future of Recruitment.
Pat is a self-confessed People Geek. After a number of years in HR Business Partner, OD and Commercial roles in the Australian mining industry, Pat is now building People Ops & Talent at FundApps. Pat has a passion for people analytics, organisational culture and how technology can contribute to the employee experience.
Laura has worked in recruitment since 2004, starting in operational recruiting and now managing technology and transformation projects for Siemens in the UK.
With previous experience working for large organisations such as Accenture and Balfour Beatty, Laura has a wealth of experience in implementing new systems and process as well as maximising relationships with strategic suppliers.
Laura is passionate about creating a more engaging candidate experience, the evolving role of the TA function and the future of work.
Jeff brings 25+ years of HR leadership experience – 50% with US-based multi-national investment baking and consulting firms and 50% with hyper-growth tech companies. He’s currently interim Chief Strategy Officer with Gtmhub.com(OKR management) and supporting HiBob, InteriMarket, Intuo.io, SmartUp.io and several other HR/Productivity tools in their go-to-market journeys.
Sophie moved from engineering to recruitment and has since led recruitment projects with Ford, General Motors, and IBM – before launching her HR career in multiple fintech startups. Her expertise is in taking a startup through hypergrowth and overcoming the challenges that come with it. She’s now the culture guardian of 11:FS.
Pip’s an award-winning technologist with a career spanning multiple technologies and markets and 11 years in recruitment technology and digital employer branding.
His personal mission is to be a trusted technology advisor to the talent community; bringing complex technology solutions to a non-technical audience and make it as simple as possible.
Lee has worked in recruitment since 2006 and is currently Talent Acquisition Partner at Shop Direct, the guys behind Very.co.uk and Littlewoods. He is responsible for the Talent Acquisition strategies for the Tech, Product and Fulfilment areas of the business. Prior to working in-house, Lee worked agency side and also co-founded a recruitment tech start-up.
Modiara is a young professional who has worked in the recruitment industry from the start of her career. She is responsible for the employer brand for one of the biggest loyalty players in the world of food retail, runs her own consultancy, writes about the future of HR and is a big supporter of implementing HR-technology in the right way.
Graham has 7 years of recruitment experience at companies such as XPO Logistics, Argos and Travis Perkins plc. He’s an advocate of technology, and how it can improve not only a business’s view of recruiting but more importantly the candidate journey and experience.
Mark co-founded his first company at 21 which, in 5 years grew to £40m in sales turnover and employed over 150 staff globally. Since then he has continued to build and grow businesses, particularly within the recruitment, media and marketing space. He is the Co-founder of the In-house Recruitment Network, In-house Recruitment Awards and In-house Recruitment LIVE!
Clair is an experienced marketing professional with extensive knowledge of the recruitment sector. Having established herself as an international marketing and branding thought leader, Clair has elevated brands such as Bullhorn, Broadbean, Randstad and Huntress into the hearts and minds of each of their audiences. Clair now acts as a marketing consultant, interim director and mentor supporting Recruitment Marketers and Talent Technology businesses to deliver amazing results.
Jo is a Co-Founder at TalentWall. She started her career as an agency recruiter in London, before joining ThoughtWorks in 2002 where she was Resource Manager, Agile Business Analyst, and North America Recruiting Manager. Jo believes in the importance of creating diverse teams and the value of applying agile methods to Talent Acquisition. When she’s not doing that, she’s making up puns.
Simon has worked in recruitment since 2000.
He started his career working agency side, prior to managing his own recruitment business for several years, and more recently has worked in-house as a Talent Acquisition Partner at Shop Direct.
Simon is currently responsible for the in-house Resourcing team at ASDA.
Matt is the founder of Tobias Adam Consulting. He has been the technology lead on well over 100 ATS & VMS implementations both local and global.
Particular areas of passion are contingent workforce technologies and benchmarking & analytics.
Enrique is the founder of Hacking HR, a global community around the future of work, technology and HR, and co-founder of Cotopaxi, an AI-based recruitment platform for Latin America.
He loves building agile HR teams that use design thinking.
Chris has worked in Recruitment for 12 years at companies like Santander, Celesio and Next. Over the years, Chris has introduced several vendor solutions with great success, with some that are now household names. After relocating to Berlin in 2015, he now heads up Candidate Experience and Innovation at Zalando with a remit for reimagining the hiring experience using HR Technology.
Martin Burns is Strategic Consulting Leader for HireClix, a recruitment consulting & advisory agency. A long-time practitioner and corporate recruiting leader, he combines significant expertise in strategy, technology, and marketing. His career has included leading, as well as consulting with, recruitment for some of the world’s most significant brands. Before making the move to HireClix, he led talent acquisition technology transformation for PwC.
Darren is a techie turned businessman.
After reaching CTO at Broadbean Technology before the age of 30, he decided to launch ContentApp – a social sharing tool for recruitment, an industry he loves.
Barry has worked with HR & Talent tech companies such as Beamery, Clear Review, The Chemistry Group and HiBob to help them gain traction & relevance in their markets.
He was recently recognised as one of the top 30 Global Influencers in HR Tech.
Jeremy has been in recruitment since 2004, recently with companies that are behind the curve in terms of recruitment process and technology.
He’s passionate about helping HR tech vendors to understand the challenges of traditional recruiting cultures.
David is a globally respected speaker, advisor and executive consultant on People Analytics, data-driven HR and the future of work.
Prior to launching his own consultancy business, David was the Global Director of People Analytics Solutions at IBM Watson Talent.
Liz develops innovative talent strategies that drive performance, and she has led companies through rapid scaling & M&A globally.
She’s passionate about tech, the future of work, speaking, and leads the London chapter for Hacking HR.
Kelly has a spent the last 25 years leading recruitment and recruitment technology businesses in the UK and US.
He founded Broadbean, which he sold to DMGT in 2008; launched in the US 2009 and lead the strategic acquisition by CareerBuilder in 2014.
Karen McKenzie Mills
Karen has led award-winning teams deploying systems, user adoption, and training for CRM, Talent Management, Payroll, Workforce Administration, and Learning Management Systems in Siebel Systems, Oracle, CA Technologies and Sage.
Mike leads the team at the award-winning Technically Compatible.
A sales leader with over 15 year’s SaaS experience, he joined Technically Compatible in 2017 to help them scale, following 12 years leading business development for Sage.
Ian is an expert on the impact of AI and emerging technology on HR, and is an advisor and consultant for start-ups focused on HR tech and People Analytics.
He was previously at Cisco, responsible globally for the tools and insights to transform the talent function.
Gareth is the co-founder and Director of TQSolutions and has worked in the Human Resources and Recruitment industry for over 23 years.
He’s the resident technology subject matter expert at TQ and is Udder’s lead advisor in the Asia Pacific region.
